DESCRIPTION:
The Weighbridge Clerk will be responsible for monitoring all trucks entering and exiting mine property with and without coal, ensuring that the working area and equipment is always clean, safe, and in good working condition, and providing accurate reports for management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
▪︎ Grade 12
▪︎ Computer literate
▪︎ Physically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness test.
EXPERIENCE:
Relevant weighbridge experience
Safety experience advantageous
Mining Experience is an added advantage.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪︎ Turn the weighbridge on.
▪︎ Creating daily tonnage reports that include the weights of the coal that is received and sent out.
▪︎ Ensure client satisfaction and uphold positive customer relations.
▪︎ Gathering information
▪︎ Put together a sales report.
▪︎ Daily transaction filing
▪︎ Implement fundamental security measures.
▪︎ Overall management
▪︎ Make sure the appropriate weighbridge paperwork is submitted for handling.
▪︎ Handle reports, PODs, and archives.
